So just for you, I decided to decorate my garden with some favorite staff and take some photos today and, I was busy to taking some items out and in from home to garden all day.Cause we are having some heavy rainy days in Ankara…
I enjoyed the time in my garden very much… Do you ever do that? I mean it’s so amazing what can be pulled together to change a look completely.
I like white,no doubt… what is your favorite colour? Actually, there can’t be any wrong color, if you love red, go for it, if you love purple so much ( like one of my student, Türesin)embrace it! More than anything, I want you to have fun with your homes, gardens, your wardrobe, and your life.
Our world is filled with gorgeous colors – it really is SO fun to add some of it to our homes, don’t you think?
Now then, what is YOUR favorite color? And will you let it come out and play?
Okay, this time while enjoying in the garden, we decided to take some photos of me as well. I am so sure, if I have to do another job in this life later, I would be a photographer…I wasn’t aware of its magical beauty before bloggerland but when I started to take photos, I found myself in another world…I have been learning…You all know I am so open-minded to learning new things…I don’t have a very professional camera yet but will be soon… It is not just taking photos which makes me excited, it is the creation stage before taking photos and it is the playing time with the photo after taking…
Here are some gorgeous sites that you can use to edit your photos: http://www.picturetrail.com, http://www.bighugelabs.com, http://www.flickr.com and of course Picasa…It is a software download from Google that helps you organize, edit, and share your photos. It’s free, and easy to use. Please enjoy with these great sites…
Believe me, they were just normal photos but after I edit them by the help of the above sites now I look better…
Most of these photos have been taken by MY SON. I would like to introduce him to you…He is the SUNSHINE OF MY LİFE…He is 12 years old, very talented, a great latin dancer, handsome, sensitive, quick-eyed, he has a great sense of humor, how can a 12 years old guy make you fall down from your seat by his incrediable jokes?…he is so smart!! Halfway to 24, how can it be? Such a mix of big kid/little kid. I tease him sometimes he is like big man that thinks he’s still a puppy. Each afternoon when I meet him at the school, he charges me! Running with open arms, he collides into me as I brace myself. Someday he will KNOCK me over, but I can take it.Tears are in my eyes….
SWEETHEARTS, where in the world are YOU?
Please share the name of your town, or your city, or your state, or your country where you live…. I know that some of you are far, far away from me, some of you very close to me but WE know that in Blogland, it really is a small world after all..
Nooooow, I told you today is my LITTLE INSPIRATIONS day… so you will be surprised because I want to share a DELICIOUS recipe with you before I wander into the kitchen in a little bit and actually make it for lunch today. Feel free to jot down the recipe while you sip on a glass of fresh apple juice which is my favorite…!
2 cups (260 grams) all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon (2 grams) salt
1 cup (2 sticks) (226 grams) unsalted butter, room temperature
1/2 cup (60 grams) powdered (confectioners
or icing) sugar
1 teaspoon (4 grams) pure vanilla extract
In a separate bowl whisk the flour with the salt. Set aside.
In the bowl of your electric mixer (or with a hand mixer), cream the butter until smooth (about 1 minute). Add the sugar and beat until smooth (about 2 minutes). Beat in the vanilla extract. Gently stir in the flour mixture just until incorporated. Flatten the dough into a disk shape, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill the dough for at least an hour.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (177 degrees C) with the rack in the middle of the oven. Line two baking sheets
with parchment paper.
On a lightly floured surface roll out the dough to 1/4 inch (.5 cm) thick. Cut into rounds or whatever shapes you wish using lightly floured cookie cutter. Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet and place in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes. This will firm up the dough so the cookies will maintain their shape when baked. Bake for 8 – 10 minutes, or until cookies are lightly brown. Cool on rack.
Shortbread with keep in an airtight container for about a week or frozen for several months.
Makes about 20 shortbread cookies.

Sevgili Işınsu, kurabiyeni hep yapıyorum, hele Can ve annem bayılıyorlar…Neredesin, seni çok özledik….Neyse kurabiye tarifine yine çok teşekkür ederim…
220 gr margarin
1 su bardağı pudra şekeri
2 çay kaşığı kabartma tozu
2 çorba kaşığı buğday nişastası
2-3 damla limon
Afiyet olsun…
